"Zoo to You" Outreach Program

Don't have time to visit the Zoo? Too hard to reseve a bus? Gass too high? Not a Problem

Many of our programs can be conducted at your site!

Zoo to You Prices

Non-profit

$25 Program Fee for each 30 minute program
$1 per person
Animal contact for up to 30 students
Please call for quotes if the audience exceeds 30
Round trip mileage if outside Ouachita Parish of 50.5 cents per mile

Corporations

$150 for each 30 minute program for up to 50 individuals
$200 for each 30 minute program for up to 100 individuals
Please call for quotes if the audience exceeds 100
Round trip mileage if outside Ouachita Parish of 50.5 cents per mile

Whether you are visiting the Zoo or wanting the Zoo to come to you, Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo can enhance your curriculum. All Education Programs are aligned with the Louisiana Content Standards, so you can be assured that your visit to the Zoo is a valuable use of instructional time.
